Route to Market Route offers hourly or project based consulting to fit the needs of your unique retail or food service business. We have worked on new spaces at every level from curating the right product mix to working with designers on layout. Hiring and training the staff to execute it. In the case of existing spaces, we have done complete food development plans. Grab and go concepting, staffing and execution, laid out store moves, refreshed product and re-merchandised. We also focus on existing staff training to help better articulate the brand stories in an effort to drive higher sales and improve customer service.

We offer complete retail and product development and marketing services including: research and ideation, confidential taste strategy, product reviews, review of brand standards, recipe development, in-store food demonstrations, public relations (including acting as a spokesperson for new product lines), marketing consultation and more.
We work diligently to support individuals and companies in the development of a sustainable product and brand. We do this with an initial one-on-one review of the project, starting from whatever stage of development you are in currently. After that evaluation, we move to tasting and evaluation of the product and the recipe itself. Assuming that packaging exists, we will provide full packing design feedback. We also teach you how to create programs that will go out to consumers and generate sales. Information will be shared with retail partners including introductions to retail buyers. Information will be shared on growing the business through private label, distributors and co-packers.
BRAND MEDIA TRAINING
Brand spokespeople always need to be prepared to speak strategically, knowledgeably and succinctly about a product. Their messages must resonate with target audiences. With such crucial demands, skillful media training is always important. Brand media training helps spokespeople make the most out of interview opportunities. Sessions can range from a one-hour refresher course to a multi-day workshop with mock interviews. Our programs typically address what you should say and how to say it, as well as ways you can subtly stay in control of the brand message during interviews. As someone who is comfortable embodying a brand's promise, Jennifer and her team will train your staff to be well-versed in your value proposition and camera (or reporter) ready.
